The groundwork for LIGHT in LIFE began in early 2013, when a few like-minded, motivated people having common interests who live and work here in Switzerland joined together for a common cause and goal. So we thought of doing it collectively by which we could serve the deserving sections of the society by providing sustainable humanitarian assistance, thus giving them better standards of living. Then the process started to form a charity organization and it bloomed into a beautiful flower LIGHT in LIFE in November 2013. We ignited the light to eradicate darkness among the underprivileged and the deprived in the years ahead.
what we do
As a team, the goal of LIGHT in LIFE is to reach out to the needy and deprived people, especially children, physically as well as mentally challenged, homeless, and so on. Through our engagements, we support to get shelter to homeless people who do not have a roof over their head enabling them to live securely without any fear, food for people who do not have any means of earnings to get their daily bread, primary education to tribal children who live in very remote undeveloped areas and vocational/professional training to children in need.

MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT
The best things in life just happen. It is beautiful to watch water flow from the hilltops and meander through the plains to reach its final destination, the sea. In this journey, no drop of water can be differentiated. How beautiful it would be if the humans around the world are not differentiated on their financial status. We have been blessed with eyes with which we can never see the expression on our own face, but it is for us to see the pain and sufferings of the people around us. We have also been blessed with strong hands with which we can never lift us, but it can be used to uplift the needy. As much as we could use our eyes and hands for our needs, we could use them to see the needy and uplift them too. We believe that we need to use our inner light to see the thousands of deprived lives around us. To quote Martin Luther King Jr., “Darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can do that”. We at LIGHT in LIFE have committed ourselves to start lighting lives, thus creating a ripple effect with the firm belief that the darkness of helplessness will be eradicated from the globe. We strongly believe that each one of us can be the light that helps others see. It is what gives life its most profound significance.
