There is nothing as secure as a roof above your head. The hand to mouth existence of thousands of Indians makes them live in pathetic conditions – in sheds and huts made of mud, straw, plastic, tin and so on. LIGHT in LIFE helps to build simple and stable houses that give protection and security to them. LIGHT in LIFE finances one-third of the total cost of a house. The rest will be borne by local partners, charity organisations, patrons and sometimes by contributions by the beneficiary himself (financial/material/manual labour).
