Discontinuing education after the higher secondary is present in the Indian education scenario. Reasons could be financial difficulties, ignorance, lack of guidance and motivation and the like. LIGHT in LIFE will provide financial assistance to the youth pursuing professional courses, belonging to economically weaker families who cannot support them financially. Completion of such professional courses will help these children with better placements, making them financially independent thus enabling them to support their families too.
In 2019, we have supported 43 students partially to pursue professional courses and we will continue into 2020 too.
