In 2017 LIGHT in LIFE built 7 shelters for the homeless people in Kerala.

It is a dream of many homeless poor people to have a roof above their head. Unfortunately, hundreds of thousands of people in India are not lucky enough to fulfil this dream.
LIGHT in LIFE built five (5) houses in cooperation with the Catholic diocese Idukki, Kerala and two (2) houses in collaboration with the Catholic church, Pathanamthitta, Kerala.
One-fourth of the total cost of the house is given by LIGHT in LIFE. The rest of the cost was taken care of by the local partners, organisations, patrons or well-wishers. A portion of the cost is borne by the beneficiary himself (financial/ material/ manual labour).
