Construction of shelter for needy families in Kerala
In 2015, LIGHT in LIFE built 21 shelters for the homeless people in Kerala.
Share of LIGHT in LIFE for 21 houses is CHF 29’611.
LIGHT in LIFE, in cooperation with the Catholic diocese Idukki, Kerala, built 21 houses this year. One-fourth of the total cost of the house is given by LIGHT in LIFE. The rest of the cost was taken care of by the local partners, organizations, patrons or well-wishers. A portion of the cost is borne by the beneficiary himself (financial/material/manual labour).
