In 2014, LIGHT in LIFE provided wheelchair-adapted electric scooters for five (5) physically challenged people.

Physically challenged people in India often feel like they are a burden to their family. They cannot care for themselves and others. Their situation is often aggravated by the poverty of the family. The income does not suffice for food, clothing and education.
To mitigate the effects of disability, LIGHT in LIFE provides these people with mobility aids (wheelchair-adapted electric scooters) and training to strengthen their mobility and skills. This helps them to organise their way of lives for their livelihood and to take care of their families without depending on others.
